Spicing it up!

This last weekend we had an amazing trip to the Tanshikar Spice Farm, here in southern Goa.  Chinmay and his family were great.  They welcomed us with a tasty lemongrass drink and cashew nuts.

Then Chinmay took on us on a tour of their gorgeous organic spice farm.  We checked out the vanilla flowers waiting to bloom...
He was terrific at explaining everything, even the children were totally engaged.  We learned about pepper, vanilla, nutmeg, cocoa, and many more spices.

 Organic pepper...
The highlight for our 8 year old was finding out where chocolate comes from!  The Cacao tree!
He even introduced us to his bees...
After the tour, they served a delicious lunch with spices from the farm.

We even got to meet the rest of the family.  His daughters were so sweet and beautiful.

If you find yourself in southern Goa, I can strongly recommend visiting the Tanshikar Spice Farm, it was a great day out, and there is a nearby waterfall and bubble pool to cool off in as well. Thank you Chinmay and family for a great day.

Truly divine food!

I have had the extreme pleasure of photographing two of Juliette Bryant´s workshops at The Space here in Goa.  She is so full of life and her food is beyond delicious.  I learned so much at the Divine Detox workshop that I think I forgot to shoot sometimes cause I was listening so much.  At her Divine Desserts workshop, just tasting her amazing raw desserts made me think I had died and gone to heaven!  She has recently written a book, The Divine Detox, which is available via her website, www.julietteskitchen.tv. On the 20th she is doing one last workshop at The Space, you do not want to miss it, Conscious Nutrition for the Whole Family.

Cousins make the greatest friends

Had the pleasure of photographing these adorable little people (and their parents).  We started at the local kindergarten, Vrindhavan Kindergarten with their beautiful new mosiac.  Then we headed down to the beach, nice to live a place with so many great shoot locations, not to mention the cute subjects!

Fotoshoot for a new website...

I have been so busy, i have not had any time to update.  But luckily i am catching up on things, and now have a little time to catch my breath and update you all on all the fun i have been having.

I have been working on a website i am very excited about for a local clinic here in Goa.  The Bone and Body Clinic is helping so many people regain their health and strength, they are amazing.  The website should be up soon, but thought i would preview a few pics i took for the new site.

A beautiful day for a wedding

A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of following Sari and Håkan on their gorgeous wedding day.  The weather was great and the adorable little church was such a lovely setting.  The moment we met in the church parking lot, the love and enthusiasm was streaming from them, and I knew it was going to be a fun day.  They were such a treat to photograph.  Being able to share such a big day with such wonderful people is one of the many perks of my job and I love it.  Congratulations to Sari and Håkan.

Some kids just like the outdoors!

The other day i had the pleasure of photographing the sweetest kids.  Only, little brother was just not happy in the studio, try as they did, Mama, big brother and big sister just could not get him to cooperate.  Luckily for us, once we moved the shoot outside he was a much happier camper.  So impressed with his older siblings they were real troopers!  well done!
