jewelry likes to be photographed too!

a friend of mine has started her own company making silver jewelry. so i tested my hand at photographing some of her silver pieces while visiting her today.  pretty happy with the results.  maybe i should try and get into marketing photography as well!  you can check out her blog at lindofsweden. the cat is a work in progress, excited to see what it will look like when it is finished.

the linds

been so busy with work, kids, and trying to have a life, that i have not found the time to update the blog.  however, the other day i did a shoot with the delightful lind family and thought i would post a little teaser for them.

photographing families with small children is always a challenge, but so much fun.  the kids' personalities really come out.  i had a great time, it just seemed to go way too fast. but even a photographer does not mess with nap time!

the charming Ebba works the camera

last week i had the pleasure of photographing the adorable and charming two and a half year old Ebba.  she was great. very patient and definitely a cutie!  zoe followed along and helped with the shoot,  poor Ebba was getting directions from both me and zoe, but she coped well.  here is a taste...

the happy married couple...

Thought i would share a few more pics of Marina and Jimmy's special day.  they picked up their pictures today, and seemed very happy.  Always feels good with positive feedback.  they have promised to recommend me to others, so hopefully this will lead to even more foto gigs.  this is a job i would love to have full time!

i am back!

i have finally organized myself and my hopefully soon blooming photography and webdesign business, that i am literally in business.  after finally building and putting up my website, www.eimithoren.com, i managed to land a wedding gig right off that bat, yeah!

yesterday i had the honor of capturing those special moments on marina and jimmy's big day.  i had a blast, and hope they will enjoy the memories!
